Francisca Mix, LPC, BC-DMT, ACS

Francisca is more than a workshop leader—she’s a trusted trainer, consultant, and clinical supervisor known for her expertise in the field of embodiment-based therapy. With over 20 years of experience in counseling, leadership, and professional training, she has guided hundreds of therapists, supervisors, and helping professionals to integrate the body-mind connection into their work for deeper, more lasting outcomes.

She is recognized for her ability to translate complex concepts—like nervous system regulation, somatic awareness, and non-verbal attunement—into practical tools professionals can confidently use with clients. Her warm, engaging style creates a safe and welcoming space for exploration, whether working with couples, individuals, or clinicians in training.

In Couples Therapy in Motion, Francisca blends her expertise in dance/movement therapy, neuroscience, and relationship dynamics to guide participants through interactive, movement-based practices that foster trust, emotional safety, and genuine intimacy. Whether you’re navigating challenges or seeking to rekindle connection, Francisca’s skillful facilitation helps you move beyond words—into deeper, embodied understanding.

Rachael is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Dance/Movement Therapist who brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and embodied practice to her work with couples and fellow mental health professionals. Deeply committed to helping partners build stronger, more resilient relationships, she integrates movement-based approaches with traditional couples counseling to create transformative, whole-person experiences.

In addition to her clinical work, Rachael is the founder of Love Springs Studios, a wedding dance studio in Colorado Springs that has helped hundreds of couples connect more deeply through movement. Her ability to bridge the worlds of therapy and dance gives her a distinctive perspective on how the body-mind connection can be a catalyst for healing and intimacy.

In Couples Therapy in Motion, Rachael shares her expertise in applying these same movement-based techniques to professional practice—helping therapists learn how to use embodiment to break through communication barriers, foster emotional safety, and guide clients toward lasting breakthroughs.
