Movement isn’t just about exercise—it’s a powerful way to deepen connection, trust, and intimacy in relationships. Whether it’s dancing, playful activities, or simply moving together in sync, physical movement strengthens emotional bonds in deeply profound ways. By engaging in intentional movement with your partner, you can build stronger communication, increase trust, and even release key hormones that promote attachment and relaxation. Movement as bond strengthening is such a powerful, but subtle experience, that most of us underestimate its importance. But, in reality, there is a lot of science backing it up! My career is actually built on this premise. That’s right, the importance of physical connection through movement is what drove me into mental health in the first place.
