Clinical effectiveness is not just cognitive — it is embodied.

This training integrates nervous-system-informed and somatic approaches to strengthen regulation, relational presence, and sustainable clinical work.
Participants will be able to:
Describe foundational nervous system principles relevant to clinical practice
Apply regulation and co-regulation strategies within therapeutic sessions

This experiential training integrates movement-based and nervous-system-informed approaches to help clinicians move beyond talk-only interventions and support deeper connection, repair, and regulation in couples work.

Participants will be able to:
Describe foundational principles of embodied and movement-informed couples therapy
Identify how nervous system dynamics influence couple conflict and repair
Demonstrate experiential interventions that promote co-regulation and relational safety
Integrate movement-based techniques into structured couples therapy sessions

Strong teams don’t happen by accident.
They’re built through intentional development of supervisors, systems, and clinical judgment.
These training topics can stand alone or be combined into a strategic learning pathway tailored to your organization. If there’s a topic not listed here, we can design a customized training aligned with your team’s specific goals and challenges.
Every team has growth edges.
When supervisors are clear, leaders are grounded, and clinicians are regulated, outcomes improve. These trainings are designed to support that level of professional strength across your organization.

HI, I’M FRANCISCA MIX!
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), Board-Certified Dance/Movement Therapist (BC-DMT), and consultant with over 20 years of experience supporting mental health professionals in strengthening clinical skill, leadership capacity, and ethical clarity.
I don’t approach training as a one-off presentation.
I approach it as system development.
I’ve trained graduate students, interns, supervisors, leadership teams, private practice owners, and statewide professional organizations. I’ve served as a featured trainer for the Colorado Counseling Association’s Clinical Supervision Series, a former graduate-level adjunct professor, and an advisory board member for a master’s-level counseling program.
Training an intern cohort is different from strengthening a leadership team. Supporting new supervisors requires a different lens than refining agency-wide risk management systems. Each session is tailored to the structure, culture, and developmental stage of the team in front of me.
My work blends clinical depth, ethical clarity, leadership systems thinking, embodied practice, and practical tools teams can implement immediately.
When I step into your organization, my goal is simple:
To leave your clinicians clearer, your supervisors steadier, and your leadership stronger than when I arrived.
If you’re looking for a trainer who understands both clinical complexity and organizational responsibility, I’d love to support your team.
★★★★★
It isn't easy to find a balance between competency and approachability. Francisca Mix is a fantastic trainer for just that reason. From the counselor-in-training to those who have been practicing for 20 years, you will find Francisca to be a valuable resource.
